COMPOSITION:

Sulphadimidine Sodium

33.3 % w/v

MODE OF ACTION:

SULPHASYM inhibits the folic acid metabolism in bacterial cell resulting powerful antibacterial effect. It is rapidly absorbed from the injection site and slowly excreted from the body.

INDICATIONS:

SULPHASYM is effective against gram positive & gram negative bacteria, rickettsia and coccidia.
SULPHASYM is the drug of choice in Pyogenic, Respiratory and Elementary tract
infections. It is also effective against Pasteurellosis, Actinobacillosis, Collibacillosis and Coccidiosis of all animals.

DOSAGE & ADMINISTRATION:

CATTLE, HORSE, SHEEP, GOAT and other large animals:

Initial dose	30 ml per 50 kg b.wt. s.c., i.m., i.v.
Followed by	15 ml per 50 kg b.wt. s.c., i.m., i.v.

DOG, CAT and other small animals:

Initial dose	3.0 ml per 5 kg b.wt. s.c., i.m., i.v.
Followed by	1.5 ml per 5 kg b.wt. s.c., i.m., i.v.

POULTRY :
30 ml per 12 litres of drinking water.
